Rebound in black library binding cloth, with bumping to corners Most plates in reasonable condition, although all contain a small, ink library stamp to the corner of each illustration. Plate I heavily chipped at edges, but not affecting engraving. Foredges of several plates have been expertly reinforced with archival tape to the verso. Edges of half-title and title page also heavily reinforced at edges. Dampstain at top edge on 7 pages, again, not affecting plates. . This title is a deacquisition from the Brooklyn Public Library, and sold on the Library's behalf. Proceeds from the sale of this title will benefit the Brooklyn Public Library..
